Salon Policies

Appointments

In order to receive your full service, we highly recommend that you arrive to your appointment 10 minutes early. We also suggest scheduling your next appointment prior to leaving Swerve Salon so that we can be sure to accommodate your schedule.

We strive to run on time so that we can ensure the quality your service. If you are running 15 minutes or more past your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule so that we can avoid running into another guest’s scheduled time.  A $25 rescheduling fee may be applied to your next service.

  • We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles.
  • Please keep all valuable items with you during your service.
  • Please advise our staff of any allergies or sensitivities you may have.
  • We are considered a team here at Swerve Salon. If for any reason you are uncomfortable with the service provider you have reserved, another team member can be made available to you.

Cancellations

Please note: A credit card is required to secure any service at Swerve Salon.

We are reserving this appointment time specifically for you. Therefore, we require a 24 hour notice of a cancellation. In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours, you may be charged 50% of your scheduled service.

In the event you do not call or fail to show for your appointment you will be charged the full amount of the service to account for our stylist’s time.

Pricing

Pricing for our salon services is based on the experience and education of the individual stylist, along with the demands for their time.

Service prices vary by stylists and start at the prices that are listed.  If you are seeking a specific price point, we are more than happy to provide options for within the services of our stylists. Please note that our service pricing may increase based on additional time or product required to accommodate very thick or long hair.  All prices are subject to change and do not include gratuity.  Your stylists will give you a more accurate quote once they’ve had the opportunity to speak with you and provide assessment.

Gratuities

Swerve Salon only accepts cash gratuities for our service providers. Some stylists have Venmo for convenience (please ask the front desk about your specific stylist).

Methods of Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. We do not accept personal checks nor third party checks.

Due to increased third party processing fees a CC SURCHARGE is added to all guest checks that are paid with credit cards.

Redo Policy

Our number one priority is ensuring our client’s leave happy. If you are in anyway disappointed with the results of your service, we want to know!  Please call the salon within 10 days and we will work to get you back in asap. All redos must be done within 2 weeks of your initial service date.

We Love Our Furry Little Friends.

Swerve Salon & Spa is a dog friendly salon. However, per Illinois State law we can only allow dogs into the building that are designated service dogs. Please make sure your dog is wearing their service vest if you choose to bring them along for your visit.
